Shinee-1000 years always by your side
To begin with, I enjoyed the mv and the song. the tune is gentle and light. I don't speak Japanese, but i understood a brief plot of the story: A little boy is diagnosed with an illness (cancer possibly?) and there's no cure for it. A man/ clown (the father?) comes to cheer him up, without much success. So, he goes to this secret room with a chest. When he opens it, hundreds of balloons float up into the sky and fill up the hospital halls. Stop right here for a moment. The chest holds tons of balloons. that can only mean one thing...it's a cousin of Hermione's bottomless bag! Back to the music video, all those balloons make the boy suddenly wake up and smile. Isn't that kind of creepy? Anyways, the man's "job" is done and he rides a bus that disappears into the clouds.
This isn't my favorite Shinee song but it's quite the contrast to their usual style. It's not a very dancy type of song and not very catchy either. It sounds more like a....like a happily-ever-after song. I bet Taemin was disappointed but Jonghyun was like "all right! I got this!"
Last note: is it just me or all of the Shinee songs have song kind of a high note? Sucks for Minho. ^^
