BTS is on the V app, which is an app for all kpop lovers to watch their favorite groups in a variety-show atmosphere. [Commentary] Reply 1997

I finished watching Reply 1997 and OH. MY. GOD. I'm left speechless. The script writer must be a fangirl or at least have watched a documentary on us because that drama/sitcom/whatever category it's in was unbelievably accurate. And I'm not an expert in the 90s--heck I barely know about that time period--but somehow I miraculously understood the past trends and lifestyles of the 90s, probably because of how I was exposed vicariously through my parent's stories. But anyway, it's in my top list of best drama's I've watched so far (yes I just watched it for the first time in 2015), so if you haven't watched it, I highly recommmend, especially if you meet the following requirements:

1. You are a fangirl. (Well that's a check for all of you, I assume since you are on a website for fanfiction)

2. Love comedy. (I think that applies to everyone here)

2. Know something about the 90s in Korea or have connection to someone who is knowlegable in this area, so you can ask questions and also be englightened instead of going through the entire drama obliviously.

3. You are physically and mentally mature. There are some scenes where innocent, underaged children should not see. And even if you are underaged and go against my advice, you most likely will be a) traumatized not by the scenes in the drama but by the internet or b) unintentionally ignorant. (Let's hope for option b, but let's aim for NOT watching it if you are underage) This is one of those dramas where the age restrictions in the beginning of every episode actually should be considered. (I wrote "actually" b/c I ignore them, but oh boy did I underestimate. And I also think the age restriction should be more like R17 instead of R15)

It's My Birthday!

Today is my birthday! Woohoo! I'm not going to host a party (I never did except once actually). I don't expect anything for my birthday. I just want a relaxing day, away from school and stress. I also am considering taking dance lessons (some area of hip hop). I found a couple plausible places, but I still have to do some more research. If I decide not to take lessons, I most likely will learn on my own. Well that was a little current news of what's going on with my life. Later everyone :).

(NEWS) I'm not living under a rock

     Hey guys. Long time no post. I've been neglecting this blog (and my tumblr blog), as you could tell. And as the title of this post suggests, I am not nor ever have lived under a rock. I was just a bit busy during summer with SAT academy and online math course. But I'm back (well not quite. I'll get to that later). I actually have no idea what made me start this post. But anyway, happy August (my birthday month yay!). School started yesterday for me, and I was super busy (because I procrastinated and didn't finish my summer homework :P) Well the stress from that is gone now, thank you god.
     I want to say this beforehand: I may stop updating this blog (and my tumblr blog) for an indefinite period of time. It may be permanent. I've had this blog for over one and a half year, but I've been losing motivation to continue. It's mostly because this blog isn't very active, due to no one commenting. I really do enjoy reading comments. I really want to communicate, share, and learn about those who visit my blog (that's you!). It doesn't even matter if you just leave the word "Potato" and nothing else. And don't misunderstand. I really do appreciate every single view count my blog received along with the comments on several of the posts. They make me feel honored and accomplished. I still remember when I hit my first 100 views ^^.

This isn't a goodbye (I'm not leaving yet!), but more of a "See ya later!" Special thanks to my followers (even though they are silent followers) for clicking that "follow" button and to those who clicked "share" on a social media site. They made my little heart flutter with happiness. You guys rock.

So if you guys haven't heard, our fandom has planned to reach 5 million views on the Korean version. However, the Sewol ferry incident has interrupted the plan and postponed it (not that I blame it or anything b/c it truly is an unfortunate accident. Our family has been watching the news for a week, hoping for good news. Sadly, there were none, but I don't want to get into that right now)
